Are there any side-effects?
In general, this procedure is relatively risk-free. There is a slight risk of bruising at the site where the needles are inserted – especially closer to the eyes however, this is not long-lasting. Minimal bleeding may be present at a point once the needle is removed and is addressed with direct pressure and ice. Additionally, individuals may experience lightheadedness immediately after the treatment. How often do I need a treatment?
This will vary depending on your age, level of vitality, health habits and health history. The average treatment plan is weekly over 8-10 weeks with each appointment being 75-90 minutes long. Most individuals can see subtle results after a few treatments, with most experiencing lasting results around the 7th treatment. Once the initial treatment series is complete, individuals may have monthly maintenance treatments.
